As you ascend into the paragon tier your name has become known to many, and feared by all but the most mighty or foolish of mortals. You are a whisper of dread among the ignoble, a cold sweat to those who would exploit or terrorize the weak and the innocent. You have honed your craft of death to a keen edge, and you have come to terms with the grim fact that you are a weapon to fell the tyrants who threaten the peace. You have become a Whispered; a master assassin who is spoken of only in hushed tones. For the wicked and unrighteous you are a monster stalking the marches, but to the oppressed and downtrodden you are an avenging angel. How you walk that line is up to you…

Path Features

Assassin's Arsenal (11th level): You gain proficiency with the crossbow, hand crossbow, and shuriken. In addition, any weapon you wield has its proficiency bonus increased to +3 (if it was not +3 already).

Rapid Death Action (11th Level): When you spend an action point to take an extra action, you can make a basic attack with a weapon as a minor action once before the end of your turn.

Cutting Wind (16th Level): When you use your second wind you may also teleport 5 squares and make a basic attack with a weapon as a free action.

Path Powers

Warp Slash Whispered Attack 11

A quick series of hops through the Shadowfell allow you to drop multiple enemies with successive attacks.

Standard Action Close Blast 5
Target: Each enemy in blast
Attack: Dexterity vs. AC

Hit: 2[W] + Dexterity modifier damage and you teleport to a square inside the blast or adjacent to it.

Silent Resolve Whispered Utility 12

You utter no cry as the blade bites in, as the power of shadow has inured you to pain.

Minor Action Personal

Effect: Until the end of your next turn you gain resist 10 to all damage from your Assassin's Shroud target.

Specter's Step Whispered Attack 20

You jaunt through shadow and rush up on your enemy to deliver a crippling strike.

Encounter • Shadow, Teleportation, Weapon
Standard Action Melee or Ranged Weapon
Target: One creature

Effect: You teleport up to your speed and make the following attack.

Attack: Dexterity vs. AC

Hit: 4[W] + Dexterity modifier damage and the target is dazed (save ends).

Miss: Half damage and the target is dazed until the end of your next turn.
