"Save your pleas for the devils, scum. We both know what you are… and what you deserve."
Prerequisite: Duskblade, Brutal Avenger
Many decent folks have been wronged and hunger for justice, but few of them are strong enough to get it themselves. They trust the law to bring them justice, but in the worst places the light shed by the authorities is as black as the savage wilderness between them. Criminals wait to be punished; passed over by the law due to incompetence, cowardice, or corruption, the scum of the world sits on thrones built from the unpaid vengeance of those they have hurt.
You are their debter. You will not sit by and allow evil to go unpunished, nor will you let the weak suffer because of the strong. You have been given a curse… a dark power which haunts you in the night. But to those you help, it is a gift. You will fight for those who can't fight for themselves, you will punish those which blind justice has overlookeed. You are a lone punisher, walking always in darkness, watching and waiting for the guilty. They will be judged…
Path Features
Brutality's Reward (Level 11): When you spend your Second Wind, you regain the use of Brutal Vengeance, if it is already expended.
Punishing Action (Level 11): When you spend an action point to take an extra action, you can score a critical hit on an 18-20 against a creature which has dealt damage to one of your allies since the end of your last turn.
Just Penance (Level 16): When an enemy marked by you deals damage to an ally adjacent to you, it takes necrotic damage equal to your Constitution modifier.

Page Discussion
Brutality's Reward: This ability no longer applies to the new Brutal Vengeance's effect. A new effect is needed.
Avenging Darkness: This power does way too much damage. Remove the additional Con modifier damage from the conditional damage to bring it in line.
Judge and Jury: Utility powers very rarely deal damage. It would be more appropriate for the power to cause the target to gain vulnerability along with a reduction in defenses (or just combat advantage). I would suggest having the vulnerability equal to Constitution modifier and the reduction to defenses equal to -2 (or just have the target grant combat advantage).
Curse of Blazing Vengeance: This power lasts until the end of your next extended rest rather than the end of the encounter. The duration needs to be fixed. The save ends effect should be limited to once per round.
The above feature does not work as written as it states: "since the end of your next turn.". I am assuming that this is a typo and it should read "since the end of your last turn".
Oops. Thanks for spotting that one. Must've been force of habit.
The above is a terrible utility power. Not only do you have to give up your standard action to do something that other defenders can do every round but you are also punished if the gamble goes wrong. I would seriously consider revising this utility.
That was a typo, it was supposed to be a minor. I must've forgot to change it when I C+V'd the div block.
